A.S. Monaco have won the French Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years after a 2-0 win at home to Saint-Etienne.
Monaco's success this season is largely down to the reinvigorated Colombian Radamel Falcao and the emergence of French teenager Kylian Mbappe.  :13:

Angers SCO (0-1) Paris Saint-Germain  victory

PSG's dominance in the domestic cup competitions continued after they captured a record 11th French Cup title by beating Angers 1-0, thanks to an injury-time own goal.

Spanish coach Unai Emery has been under intense pressure after a disappointing first season at the Parc de Princes, with PSG finishing eight points behind Ligue 1 champions Monaco and exiting the Champions League in the last 16.

But Emery has still arguably underachieved since replacing Laurent Blanc, who won the domestic title in each of his three seasons in charge.

Paris SG is the second team that managed to win Coupe de france without conceding any single goal after itself in 1993 !

Now, PSG own one more French Cup title than Marseille.

Conforama Ligue 1 : DIJON (1-2) PARIS-SAINT-GERMAIN  victory
Goals : Dijon : Jeannot (87e) / PSG : Meunier (71e, 90e + 2).

Belgian player Thomas Meunier rescues PSG at Dijon !

Neymar and Mbappe were held silent, as defender Thomas Meunier's brace carried PSG past Dijon in 2-1 win.

Thomas Meunier scored a dramatic double, including a stoppage-time winner, as Paris Saint-Germain salvaged a 2-1 away win over Dijon to move six points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

In a dramatic finale, Meunier netted two minutes into additional time to ensure PSG took full advantage of champions Monaco's last-gasp defeat to Lyon.

Meunier, who had previously netted a second-half opener, popped up to strike again – the right-back now has seven goals for club (PSG) and country (Belgium) already this season.
